![]() Logipen TechnologyLogiPen’s technology is based on movement and location recognition. Hand movements are transmitted by the wireless digial pen to the receiver. The application translates these movements into digital signals that capture the handwriting onto the screen. The wireless digital pen acts as a transmitter transmitting a high frequency note to the receiver, constantly informing its location. The receiver captures that note and uses the sound to estimate with extreme accuracy the timeframe it takes the acoustic wave to travel from the wireless digital pen terminal to the receiver. The receiver has microphones, each transmitting their own individual signal. The number of transducers and microphones used depends on the application. The different microphones enable the receiver to recognize the hand movement and location of the wireless digital pen on the surface. LogiPen NOTES software pack provides a vast set of tools:Note managing, handwriting and shape recognition, full compatibility with Microsoft Digital Ink™ and Office® products and fully supported by Windows Vista™, Windows XP™, and Windows 7™.
