How many times can I activate MyScript Studio Notes?
Our products are now protected by a security system that locks the application to one machine, done as an anti-piracy measure. The MyScript License Agreement is for one machine per code. This is stipulated in the Sales Terms on our webstore, and is also in the License Agreement that you must read and adhere to when you install a MyScript Application.
You must use the activation code on one permanent machine - however should you change machine or suffer a hardware failure that requires re-activation, please contact our support services at http://myscriptsupport.visionobjects.com They will help you get up and running again.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR ACTIVATION CODE SAFE! KEEP A BACKUP HARD COPY! OFTEN CODES ARE IRREPLACEABLE.
My computer has no Internet - How can I activate MyScript Studio Notes?
If your computer does not have an Internet access (which is actually a prerequisite for our software), you can still activate it:
1) Go to the computer that needs activating and in the Activation dialog box, choose manually activate.
2) Once you have generated the manual mail message, copy its contents to a text file and transfer that text file to a computer with Internet access (e.g. with a USB stick).
3) Send the text file to us at activation@visionobjects.com. including the activation code.
4) We will send back a License.txt file. You will need to copy this back to the non-Internet machine, save it to disk, then return to the Activation dialog box and follow on screen instructions
